Special New Service offered by our EAPP Team of Diverse Skills
For all buildings where general health and well-being are important, we now offer a full Holistic Bio-environmental Health Survey.
This includes analysis of air quality (heating / cooling ventilation systems), water and wastes systems, interior finishes and general construction, geopathic stress, orientation and colour advisable decors, as well as indoor plants.
Where desired we can include dietary advice, guide to pranayama deep breathing, and Yoga simple Asanas.
We can design surrounding gardens on Permacultural Design principles that help your diet by providing vital fresh organic produce perennially.

EAPP Director visits China
17–18 March 2011
The visit to China was approved by all Directors of EAPP that this would be money well spent on our first trip to Shanghai, China. This invitation was from Nottingham University Prof. Saffra Riffat and the UKTI to have discussions about possible opportunities and collaborations in China which is also being encouraged from the UTKI department.
I was agreed that the best person to attend would be Sophie. Flight tickets were booked and hotel room confirmed the hotel was organised via Nottingham University which was the Ever-rich Hotel, which was on the outskirts of main city centre.
The workshop objectives and benefits: the China / UK 2-day workshop on Low Carbon Innovations (Industry and Buildings) organised by the University of Nottingham in collaboration with Chengxin Ecointegration and the British Consulate in Shanghai, China, was held in Shanghai on 17–18 March 2011.
Other workshop collaborators include Nottingham City Council, Stephen George and Partners LLP and the World Society of Sustainable Energy Technologies – (WSSET).
The event aimed was to bring together UK and Chinese companies to discuss new business opportunities on low carbon industry / building projects. The participants may be able to secure contracts for new project in China.
The workshop covered discussions on a wide range of topics including sustainable construction, building materials, low carbon technologies, architecture environmental design, energy management, smart grid, building information systems, water saving, water treatment, noise control, waste management, CHP, renewable energy, HVAC systems, energy saving devices and waste heat recovery systems.
The focus of the event is on match-making activities between UK and Chinese companies and on the break away sessions held between participants to allow detailed discussions on business opportunities/collaborations.

Since getting back to the UK I have sent each contact that made at conference an email with positive feedback into possible business collaborations, we have had feedback from 50% of emails that have been sent.
This will be followed up with a more detailed letter that will be sent outlining proposal once further research has been conducted.
Our first meeting with Chris Lowsley UK Trade & Investment China Business Adviser which happened our Abingdon has advised that we get on with our Business Plan.
Once this has been completed to forward him a copy, so that he will be able to work with us in a much more productive way in marketing ourselves and the business in China which is a very complex market place.

Peckham Project Talk, Slideshow
and Forum

A Slideshow-Talk was given by designer Jeffrey Gale to illustrate his project for the development of affordable flats, maisonettes, shops and studios, around a Garden Piazza with an iconic Intercultural Creativity and Conference Centre as a focus, proposed for the Bussey Building Site, off Rye Lane, Peckham.
The Talk was be followed by Open Forum Questions to the Panel working for this Project: Dr Eileen Conn; Jeffrey Gale (Consultant / Planner); Local Councillors; the Site Owners; and Local Activists.

Peckham Green Fayre
12 noon to 6pm
EAP Associates had a gazebo stall at Peckham's Annual Green Fayre in the Library Square, close to Peckham Rye Rail Station.
Sophie Christopher was there to represent us, displaying drawings and plans for the proposed development of Peckham Rye. On show were site plans, affordable housing, commercial space for the local community and more.

Sophie and Jeffrey attended the Permaculture Convergance event in West Yorkshire, where Sophie was elected as a Trustee to the Permaculture Association.

The Greater London Area Transport Committee is holding a seminar on 9 September 2008 to consider the case and prospects for the Cross River Tram in the light of the Mayor’s transport priorities and the current financial pressures on Transport for London.
Peckham Vision have produced a document in response to the Cross river Tram Depot proposal. Click HERE to read more.

An Exhibition of Designs for the Intercultural Creativity & Conference Centre (see projects) was held 14th to 20th July 2008 at the "Bussey Building" as part of Central Area Development, Peckham, London.
The exhibition was on display throughout the week and included. an Open Forum on the Saturday, where people and councillors were invited to express their views to the designers and speakers.
Parallel events included music, drama and art throughout the week as part of Peckham Festival.
